Almancil
is a small city with at about 6.000 inhabitants. It is only 15 kilometres
west of Faro airport (15 minutes by car). The city has several shops and
services, e.g. supermarkets, magazine shops, baker shops, butchers, restaurants
and bars. Apart from a medical centre, there are doctors and dentists as well.

The
urbanisations of Vale
do Garrão
and
Varandas do Lago,
where
our villas are built on, are situated in the Golden Triangle of the Algarve,
between the well-known resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago in
Almancil, Algarve. This area is famous for its sandy beaches and its many golf
courses.
Both
the parks are laying next to each other (only 500 meters in between). All the Villas
are only approximately 1 kilometre away from the coast.

Vale do Garrão
is a holiday/residential development situated between Quinta do Lago and Vale do
Lobo with a 10 minute walk through Ria Formosa nature reserve and dunes to the
lovely beaches of the Algarve. The resort consists of townhouses, villas and
luxury five star hotel, all set amongst pine trees and cobbled walkways. It is
aged about 20 years. It lies between
Vale do Lobo (only 2 kilometres away) and Quinta do Lago. (Only 4
kilometres away).

The holiday/residential development of Varandas do Lago is set in the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, neighbouring Club do Ancão and Vale do Garrão. Surrounded by beautiful pine forests, the development is within easy reach of the famous golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, close to miles and miles of golden beaches, and stunning sunsets. Small development comprising of 190 detached villas and several townhouses. Future central facilities comprising of tennis courts, Bar/Restaurant and central pool area.

The
localisation of both the urbanisations is ideal: it is just a stroll to the
beach. At the beach, there are several popular restaurants. On the urbanisations,
there are several general facilities like swimming pools (in Vale do
Garrão;
in Varandas do Lago this will be built at a later stage)
and three tennis courts. Most of the buildings in the urbanisation are
townhouses and private villas with between two and five sleeping rooms. Most of
the houses have a private swimming pool.

Costs in case of unexpected cancellation
In case you need to cancel your villa booking, we need a written report of this fact. De costs of cancellation are:
1. 25% in the period between down payment and eight (8) weeks prior to arrival
2. 50% in the period between eight (8) weeks and five (5) weeks prior to arrival
3. 80% in the period between five (5) weeks and three (3) weeks prior to arrival
4. In case you have to cancel your booking within three (3) weeks prior to arrival, 100% of the renting price is due.
In order to protect you against these unexpected and unpleasant costs, we advice you to make a cancellation insurance contract within one week after you have booked our villa.
